  I Follow the Leader is a leadership consulting firm specializing in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Strategy, Initiatives, and Education. Launched in 2016 to heighten awareness and readiness of DEI initiatives within companies, I Follow the Leader partners with organizations to move them along the diversity continuum, improve their overall culture and increase profitability, creativity and innovation.

Reflection Message from the CEO

If you haven't noticed yet from being a client, partner, supporter, subscriber, or all of the above, our firm is VERY different from most Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) firms in the market today. Relationship building and progress over the long-term matter most to our team. 


Our goal is not to say we partnered with hundreds of clients. Our goal is to say that we pushed the pace of progress and helped our clients take strategic, measurable, and sustainable action. Because of that, we only take on a limited number of strategic partnerships simultaneously and annually. We also spend the majority of time on strategic work > discussions and training, which is purposeful. While discussions and training are a critical part of a successful DEI strategy, for so many organizations, it is the only DEI activity they are willing to commit to. Our P.A.C.E. Progress Framework has educating stakeholders listed as one critical element out of twelve - that's only 8.33% of the solution. 


 I love the first heading for the stats shared above- relationship building. It reinforces what is important to us and that is building long-term relationships with you, your organization, and your community, so we can get closer to fulfilling our vision of ensuring every member of the global workforce feels a sense of belonging and has equal opportunity to lead, thrive, and reach their highest potential. 


We can't wait to continue the work we're doing with our current strategic partners (Thank you for choosing IFL as your partner!) and look forward to forming more authentic, courageous, and synergetic partnerships in 2022.
